Position overviewSalary range: The posted UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. The current base salary range for this position is $99,100–$124,300. "Off-scale salaries" and other components of pay, which would yield compensation that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.

The Department consistently ranks among the top research and teaching programs in the country and continues to be at the forefront in emerging areas of chemical and biomolecular engineering and technology. Creative and energetic individuals who show extraordinary promise or accomplishment in any research area within chemical and biomolecular engineering will be considered.
