Our new assistant professor is expected to have a strong publication record at venues such as STOC, FOCS, and SODA. However, we also appreciate publications in top venues of related areas such as theoretical aspects of Machine Learning. The tenure track assistant professor’s duties will primarily consist of research, including obligations with regard to publication/scientific communication and research-based teaching with associated examination obligations within Algorithms.
