Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Paleobiology, Geosciences or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have a background in the fields of both Geology and Paleobiology. The initial appointment will be for one year, with a possibility of re-appointment for a second year, depending on funding availability and departmental need. This position has a maximum duration of 2 years and is not tenure-track. A reasonable estimate for this position is $74,600-$78,700.
