Job Summary

Purdue University’s Department of Physics and Astronomy is seeking Lecturers. The successful candidates will teach calculus and algebra based introductory physics courses to undergraduate students.  The candidate will also work with staff, TAs, assist in coordinating courses and, broadly speaking, will be expected to serve the out instructional goals of the Department. Start date is January 1, 2025.  Starting academic-year salary is in the $56,000 to $61,000 range, commensurate with experience. 

Qualifications

Candidates must have M.S. (or equivalent) in physics or in closely related areas.  Two years of experience in physics teaching at the junior college or university level desired.
