Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to (i) develop and teach undergraduate, postgraduate in Economics courses, (ii) supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. In addition, the applicant must have demonstrable capacity to teach at least one of the following courses: Health Economics, Managerial Economics, Public Sector Economics, and Labour Economics. Ability to teach quantitative methods will be an added advantage; (iii) undertake scholarly research either individually or in collaboration with others, (iv) Participate in professional and community engagement, and (v) perform duties or responsibilities at the Department, Faculty and University levels assigned by the Head of Department. Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a doctoral degree in Economics or related field; (ii) a Master’s degree in Economics or related field; (iii) a Bachelor’s Degree Economics or related field; (iv) evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in any of the above or related field, as well as teaching (courses related to marketing and\or international business) at the University or comparable institution will be added advantages. NB: In special circumstances, a Master’s degree in Economics or related field with a relevant Bachelor’s degree of at least a 2.1 pass//GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered in special circumstances.
